Cornishware was first inroduced in the 1920's by T.G.Green in Derbyshire. It has become a classic British design known arounfd the world for its simple beauty and practicality. Its famous blue and white stripes come from the lathe turning process, which removes bands of blue slip to reveal the white clay underneath.
