We first opened our doors in 1993 with the same ethos that we have today - to be dedicated to selling quality cookware for the domestic and professional cook. We cherry pick the best ranges from suppliers around the world. As a result many of the ranges we started with we still have. Only when we find a genuine improvement will we change or add a range. This approach ensures you always get the best choice. Our suppliers are amongst the best in the industry. A large number are British, many are family businesses and (as you can see on our product pages) have been manufacturing since the 1800's. Their common link is attention to quality, this has made them the successes they are today. Our reputation has been built not only on our extensive ranges but also on our customer service. Our staff have a fantastic reputation. All members pride themselves on being helpful and knowledgable and will always do their best to help you.
We have two shops next door to each other in the pretty Wealden town of Cranbrook in Kent. www.cranbrook.org We are conveniently located in the middle of London, Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Ashford and Hastings. There is a large, free car park behind the shop from where you can discover the rest of the town. Our cookshop is full of great displays and everything a cook needs from tools for preparation to specialist cookware. Our tableware shop stocks our long running glass and china ranges, and is also one of the few shops in the country to stock the complete Emma Bridgewater range. We are now one of the largest retailers of her pottery in the UK.
We are proud that we attract customers from across the country and we aim to cater for all types of cooks. Our customers range from beginners, home cooks and students to Celebrity and Michelin starred chefs. As well as being a high street retailer we also offer a mail order service.
